Katie is a geriatric social worker in New York City and has worked with older adults since 2007. She worked for eight years at DOROT, a New York- based social service agency for older adults living in the community, first as a synagogue outreach social worker and then as a senior case assistance social worker.

A leader in the profession and known for simplifying the complex for her clients, she also has expertise in long-term care facilities, hospice care, and caregiver support. She is a certified Information and Referral Specialist in the field of aging.

Katie received her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University School of Social Service and her BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Elissa Kleinhaus | Co-Founder

Elissa has provided support and guidance to hundreds of seniors, working as a geriatric social worker in New York City since 2004.

She was a case manager for homebound seniors at the Carter Burden Center for the Aging in Manhattan and, for seven years, a senior social worker at DOROT, a New York-based social service agency for older adults. Trusted in the field, she also has expertise in benefits and entitlement counseling, hospitals, and assisted living residences.

Elissa received her Masters in Social Work at Columbia University School of Social Work and a BA from Barnard College.

Holly Zinn

Holly has been working with older adults for over 15 years. She is passionate about helping them stay independent, safely and with dignity.

Holly started her career with older adults at the Isaac H. Tuttle Fund, a private foundation that provides direct financial support to individuals and community-based organizations. For the last 12 years she has been working at Lincoln House Outreach, a Naturally Occurring Retirement Community on Manhattan’s Upper West Side where she has been in the Director role since 2017.

Holly received her BA from Ithaca College and her Masters in Social Work from New York University's Silver School of Social Work.

Lisa Bohmart

Lisa Bohmart has over 20 years of experience working with older adults across home care, adult day programs, and hospital settings. She is committed to helping individuals maintain independence, safety, and dignity while navigating the challenges of aging.

Her diverse background has allowed her to develop expertise in care coordination, psychosocial assessment, and providing emotional support to both patients and their families. She takes a compassionate, person-centered approach to her work and is dedicated to helping older adults navigate complex systems while enhancing their overall quality of life.

She earned her BA from Rollins College and her Master of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work.
